Former prostitute Tatjana Plotnikova found guilty of murdering her British husband

A former prostitute who married a pensioner believing he was a millionaire was convicted yesterday of stabbing him to death after he refused to pay for her breast enhancement operation. Tatjana Edwards, 27, met Gwyn Edwards, 72, in a massage parlour he visited as a client. The woman believed Mr Edwards was wealthy and her ticket out of working as a prostitute. But he had lied about his wealth and two years after they first met, Edwards stabbed the 72-year-old in the stomach.

At least 15 victims of online dating scam in Chile

Chile, 2015. At least 15 complaints have been filed by Chilean nationals at the Russian consulate in this South American country. It's the same old story: local men contacted over the Internet supposedly Russian women interested in foreign husbands. Then those women tricked the victims into long-distance romantic relationship and under various excuses started swindling "machos" out of money.

Romance fraudsters arrested in Cheboksary
