Danish citizen got mocked by his online female acquaintance from Russia

Elabuga, Russia, 2012. A Danish national met a young Russian woman from Elabuga on the Internet. After chatting for a while over the Internet they decided to spend New Year`s Eve together. Cheerful and happy, the man (52) immediately applied for a visa and bought flight tickets. Then he bought some gifts for his new acquaintance. Finally he arrived in Elabuga on December, 26th.
Then the foreigner spent several days in vain trying to find that woman in an unknown city. She had given him a wrong number and bogus address. On New Year`s Eve the frustrated man got drunk alone and lost his passport and credit card. She just mocked him. Apparently she never had real intention to meet him. In the end, the naive Danish citizen managed to fly back home with the aid of  the local Russian immigration authorities. Prokazan.ru
